January 2020 after school coding courses preview.

January sees the launch of our first after school coding course. This course follows an 11 week programme introducing children to coding in Python.

Courses are for 8-15 year olds split into two age groups, 8-11 and 12-15. No experience is necessary for the course although we will happily welcome children who have done a little coding in the past.

Courses details:

Location: Swiss Cottage Library, London, NW3 3HA

Dates: Starting Thursday January 9th 2020, then every Thursday for 11 weeks with a break for February half term

Prices: £220 for the course

The course will introduce the basics of coding using Python, one of the world’s most popular and useful programming languages. The key concepts in coding will be covered through a very hands-on approach, using engaging projects while following the bespoke codetoday curriculum. The course is suitable for those who are new to coding using Python, or those who have covered some of the basics. All codetoday courses start with the basics, making sure these are thoroughly understood, and very quickly progress to more advanced concepts. All our instructors are experienced programmers and excellent communicators, both very important in delivering effective coding courses. They have all been trained internally in the codetoday methods and curriculum and are fully DBS checked. Places for the course are limited and will be on a strictly first come first served basis.
